Fox & Friends anchor Brian Kilmeade is going viral for this shocking on-air moment after he shared his solution for removing people who are homeless and suffering from mental health issues off the streets.

While discussing a recent murder of a Ukrainian refugee by a suspect with a diagnosed mental health condition, co-host Lawrence Jones said, “They have given billions of dollars to mental health and the homeless population. A lot of them don’t want to take the programs. A lot of them don’t wanna get the help that is necessary.”

“You can’t give them a choice,” Jones continued. “Either you take the resources that we’re gonna give you, or you decide that you gotta be locked up in jail.”

Well, Kilmeade took it a step further.
“Or, uh, involuntary lethal injection or something. Just kill them.”

Another person described the statement as the “most shocking thing any talking head has ever said on television.”
“I’m at a loss of words. So many Vets live in our streets and the answer is to euthanize them?” another person wrote. “My Dad is a Vietnam Vet and many of his friends still deal with PTSD. Hearing this truly breaks my heart.”
“years ago this would’ve been a career ender, but now these people don’t have to worry as it’s been successfully normalized,” this person wrote.

And finally, as this person said, “every single person with the credibility to message calm to the country, from Fox News to the White House, is opting to put the pedal to the metal. we are courting disaster. STOP!”
On Sunday morning’s live show, Kilmeade made an apology for his comments, stating: “In the morning, we were discussing the murder of Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte, North Carolina, and how to stop these kinds of attacks by homeless, mentally ill assailants, including institutionalizing or jailing such people so they cannot attack again,” he said. “Now, during that discussion, I wrongly said they should get lethal injections. I apologize for that extremely callous remark.”
