GE HealthCare, RadNet’s DeepHealth expand AI imaging collab
GE HealthCare
(Nasdaq: GEHC)
announced that it and RadNet subsidiary DeepHealth plan to expand their existing strategic collaboration.
The companies first came together in 2024 through a strategic collaboration to advance the adoption of AI in imaging. They said they sought to develop SmartTechnology solution that harness AI to address key challenges across the imaging value chain. This includes increasing the efficiency of imaging interpretation and reporting, enabling collaboration across care teams, improving the clinical interpretation of images and enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.
GE HealthCare and DeepHealth united their respective Senographe Pristina mammography system and AI-powered breast cancer screening workflow solution to enhance imaging interpretation and improve operational efficiency in this partnership.
Today, the companies say they are expanding their collaboration to further the innovation, commercialization and adoption of AI across multiple imaging modalities. They hope to broaden the existing collaboration to include a wider suite of AI tools with eyes on ehancing breast cancer care. GE HealthCare and DeepHealth want to extend their offerings outside the U.S. as well.
Additionally, the companies plan to work together to bring new automation and remote connectivity tools to ultrasound. They want to enhance diagnostic confidence and expand access to expert care across diverse settings.
The next phase aims to integrate GE HealthCare’s ultrasound imaging with DeepHealth’s AI-powered thyroid suite. They also hope to bring DeepHealth’s TechLive remote scanning solution together with GE HealthCare’s ultrasound portfolio.
