GE HealthCare, DeepHealth plan to expand global AI imaging collaboration

GE HealthCare and DeepHealth, a RadNet subsidiary focused on AI-powered informatics, have signed a letter of intent to broaden their collaboration across multiple imaging modalities and geographic regions.

The agreement marks a potential global extension of their U.S.-based partnership, combining AI and imaging technologies to improve clinical workflows and diagnostic consistency.

DeepHealth and GE HealthCare originally partnered in 2024 to integrate DeepHealth’s breast imaging AI with GE HealthCare’s Senographe Pristina mammography system. The expanded arrangement would include a global distribution agreement for DeepHealth’s Breast Suite and new integrations of its Thyroid Suite and TechLive platform into GE HealthCare’s ultrasound offerings.

If finalized, the collaboration would add DeepHealth’s AI-based thyroid imaging tools to GE HealthCare’s ultrasound systems. The Thyroid Suite supports automated detection and reporting of thyroid nodules, which the companies say can reduce scan times and improve consistency. Data shared by RadNet indicated that radiologists accepted AI-generated thyroid reports without modification in over 94% of 4,000 reviewed nodules.

The proposal also includes bundling DeepHealth’s TechLive remote scanning software with GE HealthCare’s ultrasound portfolio. The system enables expert sonographers to remotely assist or perform scans across multiple locations, potentially expanding access in settings with limited staffing or expertise.

“Our relationship with DeepHealth is a powerful example of how we are advancing our precision care through intelligent technology and a collaborative platform strategy,” said Karley Yoder, chief executive officer of comprehensive care ultrasound and advanced visualization solutions at GE HealthCare.

“Together with GE HealthCare, we are advancing a new standard of AI-powered care for better outcomes, improved patient experience and more efficient workflows,” added Kees Wesdorp, president and CEO of RadNet’s digital health division, DeepHealth.
