A business focused on integrative women’s health, as well as treatment for a variety of conditions, announced an expansion of its team, bringing better health services to Downtown Gresham.

Over the past year, Nuwa Integrative Wellness has gone from a one-person practice to a team of two naturopathic doctors, three acupuncturists, and a chiropractor specializing in women’s health. The clinic, 223 E. Powell Blvd., also shares a building with a colon hydrotherapist, massage therapists, and Rising Tide Yoga Studio.

“The building is a wonderful community hub for health and wellness,” said Dr. Stephanie Eastin, owner of Nuwa Integrative Wellness. “And now we are enhanced by additional experts in their respective fields.”

Some of the complex health challenges Nuwa supports include infertility, pregnancy, pelvic floor conditions, perimenopause, endometriosis, PCOS, menstrual pain, MCAS, POTS, EDS, and other chronic and autoimmune diseases. It also treats pain and injuries, including motor vehicle accident-related issues.

“Our patients often come to us after not experiencing the improvements they hoped for with previous care,” Eastin said. “However, many tell us that their health finally took a turn for the better after working with our practitioners.”

Nuwa team

Dr. Stephanie Eastin — The only fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine within a 17-mile radius. She often blends acupuncture, Arvigo techniques, Chinese herbal medicine and moxibustion to address infertility.

One of her favorite types of success stories involves couples preparing for IVF to have a baby. Often, the treatments at the clinic lead them to conceive naturally before that process begins.

Dr. Danielle Cornelius — Founder of GynoChiropractic. In addition to her clinical practice, she also travels the country teaching other chiropractors her innovative blend of modalities to resolve issues with the pelvic floor.

Dr. Alicia McCubbins — Extensive knowledge and experience treating autoimmune and joint hypermobility issues. Also works with women’s health issues and provides patients with insights and outcomes for many conditions.

Meghan Ewing — Provides advanced-level care utilizing acupuncture, classical Chinese herbal medicine, and other Chinese medical modalities.

Dr. Rachael Null — Blends naturopathic medicine with Chinese medicine, acupuncture, holistic pelvic care, and craniosacral therapy.

Patients at Nuwa Integrative Wellness often meet with multiple practitioners. They then collaborate to recommend optimal treatment plans for each individual.

“Many of the issues we specialize in can be resistant to conventional treatments,” Eastin said. “Our integrative approach not only improves conditions and symptoms but also addresses the deeper root imbalances that contribute to them.”
